Over the years the company has been involved in the restoration/refurbishment of buildings of historical importance. Examples such as the main library of the Cyprus University of Technology, the Limassol Youth Centre, Zoopigi Museum of Commandaria and the Paphos Harbour among others are testament to the company’s ability to tackle the complex issues and highly challenging procedures involved in these interventions.
This project involved the conversion of storehouses of the Old Paphos Port into cultural, entertainment and shopping spaces. External works included the formation of piazza and pedestrian paths along the old docks. Major structural intervention work was carried out such as stonework load bearing wall reconstruction and timber roof.

This old stone masonry Mansion in the Turkish neighbourhood Limassol’s Old Town was converted to an art gallery in 200x.
Commandaria Historical Museum
The conversion and reactivation of the existing winery building in Zoopigi was an exciting project for Antonis Askanis Ltd. The main aim was for the building to function as a focal point and be readily recognisable, providing an important and attractive feature for the villagers of Zoopigi, but also serve to upgrade the area and yet maintain the traditional feel of the area.
