As part of its broader commitment and awareness regarding Health and Safety, Askanis Group implements a Health and Safety Policy through which it commits to full compliance with the following:
- The preparation and implementation of a comprehensive Health and Safety Plan tailored to the requirements of each project.
- Compliance with all applicable legislative and regulatory requirements.
- The provision of appropriate and adequate Health and Safety training and information to its employees through specialised seminars and suitable work instructions and procedures.
- The allocation of the necessary resources to fulfil all prescribed Health and Safety obligations.
- The establishment of clear, measurable, realistic and time-bound Health and Safety objectives and targets, and the implementation of all necessary actions to achieve them.
- The continuous monitoring, evaluation and improvement of safety standards throughout its activities.
The Group considers that every other organisation, contractor or party directly or indirectly involved in its activities shall comply with the requirements of this Policy and the applicable Health and Safety Plan to the extent that such requirements relate to their involvement.
For the effective implementation and continuous improvement of safety measures, the Group’s Management expects every employee to comply with and act in accordance with all applicable safety instructions.
Management is committed to safeguarding the health and safety of its employees at all times, as well as the health and safety of third parties who may be affected by its activities. Management is also committed to preventing occupational accidents and work-related illnesses at all levels of the company and to continually improving the management and performance of occupational health and safety.
